CLERICAL, HOURLY EMPLOYEE OUTPLACEMENT PROGRAM

Drake Inglesi Milardo has designed this very successful, cost-effective, customized outplacement program to support the needs of your junior level and hourly employees. Services often include a workshop and 3-4 individual follow-up sessions if a small group is involved. For individual employees the program includes 4-6 individual sessions focused on the practical core skills needed to find good jobs quickly and efficiently.

Workshop Outline:
Personal Focus    This segment deals with the participant's attitudes concerning what happened, venting feelings, and then moving to the establishment of the needed positive attitude vital to the job search.

Career Assessment    Provides the participants with the opportunity to assess their interests, skill and values, personality traits and characteristics and accomplishments as they focus on their career objectives.

Resume Development    Describes the need for, and structure of, the personal resume and guides them with the development of a first draft of their own resume.

Job Search Strategies    Covers various approaches to the job market including personal contacts, targeted companies, job fairs, employment advertising, employment agencies, etc. Also, the areas of cover letters, telephone techniques and informational interviewing are covered.

The Employment Interview   Instructs the participants about preparing for interviews, answering "frequently asked" questions, how to ask appropriate questions, interviewers' styles, lining up references and negotiating the job offer.

Transitioning to the New Job    Assists the participants in understanding how to become successfully integrated into their new work environment.

Participants are provided with a comprehensive outplacement workbook. This workbook contains extensive information with exercises to assist in the process.

Individual Sessions:
These individual sessions are focused on practical job search skills individuals can utilize immediately including: making career decisions, resume development, interview training and conducting the job search.
