Prior
to forming Drake Inglesi Milardo, Dr. Drake founded
and served as President and CEO of Drake Beam and Associates.
John sold the business, now Drake Beam Morin, to Harcourt Brace
Jovanovich in the late 70's and moved to Kennebunkport with his
wife to retire and write. However, in the early 80's, to utilize
his unique strengths and 25 years of experience in the human resources
arena, he founded Drake Inglesi Milardo, Inc.
John
holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Case-Western Reserve
University, an M.A. in Psychology from Fordham University, and
a B.S. in Economics and Psychology from Rutgers University. He
has consulted for many of the nation's leading organizations and
is a renowned international lecturer on how to apply behavioral
principles in business situations. He appears annually as one
of the most popular speakers for the Institute for Management
Studies.
John
has published five books:
Counseling for the Non-Personnel Executive, Interviewing for Managers
(one of the American Management Association's top ten best sellers),
The Effective Interviewer, The Perfect Interview (How to get the
Job You Really Want) and Performance Appraisal, and "Downshifting-How to Work Less
and Enjoy Life More".
